Pihoel or Adguard Home or others are popular and do this well. Most times during installation after a reboot it cannot resolve the hostname anymore, in some (rarer cases) it even did not get a DHCP lease. In my case local names do not seem to resolve at all - when Hass starts, all hostname entries in premium.situationsapp.com fail to load with resolve errors.
